With schools now resuming Athletic Competition, Balance PT can help Heal and Prevent injuries

As restrictions loosen and more people become vaccinated, the California Department of Public Health recently announced updated guidelines for organized sports.

Monterey, CA, March 19, 2021 - The news looks promising. Many schools plan to reopen for in-person learning and resume athletic participation. In fact, the relaxed measures affect organized youth sports and recreation — including community-sponsored programs, privately-organized clubs and leagues and adult recreational sports.

Because so many people are now heading to fields, courts and trails in pursuit of exercise after much time off, Balance Physical Therapy and Human Performance Center would like to remind athletes to take it slow and steady at first.

Physical therapy has been an important part of treating athletic injuries for decades. But increasingly, athletes of all levels consider the specialized form of PT known as sports therapy to be invaluable. It not only helps people recover from tears, sprains and breaks, but can also condition the body to perform better, and prevent future injury.

BPT is a result-oriented rehabilitation facility with locations in Monterey (2260 N. Fremont St.), Salinas (143 John St.) and Prunedale (17760 Moro Road, Suite #120).

Conscious Singer-Songwriter Idalee Releases Debut EP Starting Now March 4th

Bonus Single “Heal” & Accompanying In-Prison Music Video Out February 12th

Los Angeles, CA, February 25, 2016 - Topher Hall aka Idalee marks a new beginning in the search for redemption and second chances. After overcoming a near death experience, the singer-songwriter changed his ways to leave the darkness behind and start over with a music project unlike any other.

After visiting Muskegon Correctional Facility in Michigan, Idalee was deeply moved by what he saw. This trip inspired the lead single “Heal,” a raw, personal ode about redemption.

Teaming up with Prison Fellowship, Idalee was granted exclusive access to a Texas prison to record the collaborative music video for “Heal” with a prisoner band for an insider’s look into each of the prisoner’s emotional testimonials and deep connection they had with the song.

Idalee takes influence from Nirvana, Elvis Costello, Weezer, Imagine Dragons, and Beck. The debut EP was produced by Will Brierre (The Killers’ Grammy-nominated Hot Fuss, Imagine Dragons’ Nightvisions,) and mixed by Ethan Kauffman (Ryan Cabrera).

Starting Now is a folk-pop personal project about rediscovering greater purpose and soul-searching that embodies the talented singer-songwriter and will captivate listeners.

Starting Now will be available for presale February 19th.
